The “MyCash pays your bill” Promotion

Terms and Conditions


Start Date: Monday, December 12, 2022
End Date: Sunday, March 31, 2023

These “MyCash pays your bill” Promotion (the “Promotion”) Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for the first customer who performs a bill payment on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they will receive a credit of the amount of bill and service fee paid via MyCash. This amount will be deposited in their MyCash account on Monday of the next week. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means Paymaster (Jamaica) Limited, a company registered under the laws of Jamaica with registered offices at 9 Molynes Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica. References to “we,” “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms incorporate the MyCash Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy which you can access via the MyCash App.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.


  1. What is the MyCash pays your bill Promotion?

    This promotion is for MyCash users to receive the value and fee services of the bill they paid via MyCash if the user is the first user to make a bill payment on Wednesday, Thursdays or Friday starting at 10:00am each day, each week during the promotional period.


  1. What is the promotional period for this promotion?

    The promotion is valid for the period of Monday, December 12, 2022, 00:01 through to Wednesday March 31, 2023, 23:59 (“the Promotional Period”). Paymaster reserves the right to change the Promotional Period at any time and will notify users of such change on the MyCash App.


  1. Who is eligible to enter the promotion?

    To be eligible for the Promotion, you must be a MyCash user that conducts a qualifying activity (as defined in clause 4) during the Promotional Period.


  1. How does a user participate in this promotion?
    1. Any MyCash user who does a bill payment using the MyCash app or USSD (*172#)
    2. Once the user completes the bill payment this gives the user a qualifying entry.
    3. If the person doing the bill payment is the first customer making the bill payment on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday that week they will be reimbursed with the amount they paid for their bill up to $15,000 per transaction including service fees

  1. Can a user enter more than once?

    Yes. There are no limits to the number of times that a user can enter into the promotion during the Promotional Period.


  1. How will the user be notified if they have gained an entry into the promotion?

    The user will be notified via SMS upon each successful entry.
    Congrats! You are the first person to pay a bill via MyCash this Wednesday & you are getting your payment back! We are sending it to your wallet next week.” 

    Congrats! You are the first person to pay a bill via MyCash this Thursday & you are getting your payment back! We’re sending it to your wallet next week.” 

    Congrats! You are the first person to pay a bill via MyCash this Friday & you’re getting your payment back! We are sending it to your wallet next week.” 


  1. How will the user be able to query the number of entries into the promotion?

    Users will not be able to make queries regarding this promotion.


  1. How are the winners selected?

    Each week the MyCash team will review the transactions and will select the first person who made a bill payment after 10:00am on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday to be eligible to receive the reimbursement.


  1. When will the prize draw be conducted?

    The selection of transactions and winners from the promotion will be conducted at the Paymaster Head Office on 9 Molynes Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica at 10:00 am according to the below:

  1. How will winners be notified?

    When selected, the winners will receive an SMS and app notification indicating that the bill amount and service fee were deposited in their MyCash account. MyCash will verify the validity of the account.


  1. How will the prizes be allocated?

    The winners will receive the funds deposited in their MyCash account after being selected and confirmed they were the first customers who paid a bill on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday starting at 10:00am each day, each week during the promotional period.


  1. What does the selected user need to claim their prize?

    Users need to be registered with a MyCash and have an active account.


  1. Can winners win more than once?

    MyCash wallet users will be eligible to win can only win once during the promotion.


Additional Terms and Conditions


  1. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.
  2. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
  3. To participate in this promotion users are required to have a smartphone – Android (version 6 and higher) and iOS (version 13 and higher) with their MyCash App downloaded on their device for the duration of the Promotional Period.
  4. Users who dial the USSD code *172# are also eligible
  5. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter.
  6. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily)
  7. If a prize is unavailable, we may, at our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal value and/or specification.
  8. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Paymaster website or the MyCash App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
  9. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Paymaster and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Paymaster and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Paymaster and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. Winners may be required to take part in related publicity, including (without limitation) publication of the name and image of a promotion winner along with their winning entry via Paymaster’s website, social media and other press and media channels. No additional payment will be given for this.
  11. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our MyCash App Terms and Conditions of Use.
  12. Paymaster shall not be held liable for any manufacturer’s defect associated with the prizes, nor shall it provide any warranty for the said prizes. The user shall be bound by any manufacturer-imposed terms and conditions.
